Wellington college is a private school group with 8 English speaking schools across China.
Requirements
The college needed training for presentation skills for head and senior teachers and Finance for non-Financial Managers for various departments.
The Solution
We started off by looking at who was coming on the courses, their current level and what they needed to be able to do differently as a result of the training, we then wrote the courses specifically for the audience and its requirements. These courses were delivered virtually given the travel restrictions due to the pandemic, so we split them over a number of weeks to allow for assimilation of knowledge and practice opportunities. Everyone said there was a marked increase in their knowledge and understanding of the subjects. But more importantly after the presentations skills people felt they had a clear structure for both face to face and virtual presentations.
