Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Training for Oman Airports

The Client

A government organisation which runs the following airports in Oman: Muscat International Airport, Salalah Airport, Duqm Airport, and Sohar Airport.

A major player in the international airports employing over 1000 staff.


Oman Airport wished to run both Yellow Belt Training followed by Green Belt Training for its teams in Muscat and Salalah Airports.
They wanted the course only – no project mentoring.

The Solution

We ran a serious of both yellow and green belt courses for staff at varying levels and job roles / departments. This was at a key time when the upgrade and reopening of the new airport was taking place and they wanted to make sure project teams were able to implement Lean Six Sigma principles as part of their daily role.

Even though we didn’t assess projects, we did ensure all methodology and tools were practiced in realistic scenarios, related to their role and organisation throughout the training – with the training observing and giving detailed feedback.
