Diana has 25 years’ experience in a blend of project management, business development and bid management. She has held director level roles at two professional services PLC’s – global property firm Savills Commercial and public sector consultancy Tribal. Her most recent role, before moving into training and consultancy, was as a director of bids at a large multi-national building, consultancy and property company.
Drawing on her extensive commercial experience of project delivery, team development and bid management, Diana balances her time between short interim project roles, bid management / project management, training and consultancy. Diana has worked in multinational PLCs, mid-sized organisations and entrepreneurial start-ups, which gives her a good understanding of the dynamics of differently sized organisations and the experience to provide the flexible, hands on input required for both consultancy and training
For bids, she develops the teams’ capabilities to secure work in the Public Sector (particularly in education, health, social housing, transport and local authorities), as she understands UK government agendas and legislation and the key issues that affect buying decisions. On the Private sector, she ensures there is an effective balance between the technical/commercial proposal and the emotive pain points/company politics.
For Project Management she focusses on the technical elements such as process and latest technologies, as well as the importance of client and team management and stakeholder interaction. Many of her recent consultancy projects form part of major regeneration programmes, with the resulting multi-layer stakeholder, risk and issues management.
Diana has a track record of organising, motivating and training large teams and she is an excellent project manager, including risk and people management. She understands the challenges incurred in various size projects and how these can be overcome by implementing practical solutions, overcoming barriers and demonstrating success.
She has been professionally trained in account management, project management and sales techniques such as NLP and this background is invaluable when identifying development and training needs for colleagues looking to build long-term, sustainable, and profitable relationships with key clients.
